When DataJack’s 3G plan debuted, it’s claim to fame was unlimited mobile broadband (much like Millenicom). However, since last year, they’ve stopped offering unlimited mobile broadband and instead offer one 5 GB plan for $50 ($49.99) per month.
Depending on your preference, there are 4 ways to pay that can affect your internet connectivity:
Q. How do I pay for service?
A. You have several choices:
- You can have your credit or debit automatically card charged the $49.99 monthly fee.
- You can go to www.datajack.com and pay for one or more months of service. You will need your name and account number. If your service has expired, it usually takes less than 5 minutes for your service to be restored.
- You can call 1-888-MY-3G-Jack (1-888-693-4522) and pay over the phone.
- You also can go to one of the many retail stores and pay with cash or credit/debit card. A service charge may be applied.
Naturally, if you have your card charged automatically, you shouldn’t see an interruption in service. However, it’s unsaid whether they throttle your speed, charge you extra or simply cut off your internet if you go over the 5 GB limit.
On the other hand, if you pay for only 1 or 2 months, it’s pretty safe to say that when your time is up, you’ll get cut off unless you pay for more service.
