The Top 4 Places to Get an Aircard

There are plenty of places you can get aircards from. There are also lots of places that you'd question putting your credit card info at.

That being said, let me tell you a bit about the top 4 places I recommend before you even look at what they have to offer. They are ranked based on quality, customer service and prices.

The top 4 places to get aircards I recommend are:

(1) Wirefly (*tie)
(1) LetsTalk (*tie)

(3) ACN Wireless

(4) TMI Wireless

*1. Wirefly
Wirefly
Wirefly Home PageWirefly is powered by Simplexity, the nation's leading internet provider of wireless services and phones. They've ranked in the top 10 electronics sites on the internet in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 by Hitwise (owned by Experian, the credit people). Also, they have been given a thumbs up by the likes of McAfee (the anti-virus people), VeriSign (they keep your credit card info secure), Truste (Online Privacy) and BizRate (with 50,000 customer ratings since 2005). To top it off, they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

*1. LetsTalk
LetsTalk
LetsTalk Home PageWith all that going for Wirefly, you'd wonder what LetsTalk has going on for it to be a tie. For starters, they're registered with the Better Business Bureau (they have a good reputation), Digicert (similar to VeriSign for secure transaction online), Truste for Online Privacy. BizRate, like Wirefly, also gives them good reviews. They're return policy is also similar to Wirefly. You can return it within 15 days.

Bottom-Line: You'll get a good deal, you're info will be secure, and if you don't like it, you can get your money back from Wirefly or LetsTalk.

3. ACN Wireless
ACN Wireless Home Page
ACN, like Wirefly, is powered by Simplexity and given a thumbs up by McAfee, and the Better Business Bureau. What's more impressive about ACN is that they have an entire site dedicated to providing this kind of information. You can find it at ACNInterity.com.

4. TMI Wireless
TMIWireless
TMIWireless Home PageTMI Wireless shouldn't be discounted. While they rank 4 out of 4, you can still find good deals on their site. A large part of their ranking is poor site navigation. There are no filter options and it's like looking in the bargain bin at Walmart for $5 DVDs. If I can find them neatly shelved somewhere else for the same price, I won't be stopping here. Sometimes though, you can find really good deals.

Now that you know who to do business with, check out some wireless broadband cards that are available. Still not sure on what carrier to get? Navigating the Top 4 Places

This following video goes over how to find an aircard at Wirefly, ACN Wireless, and TMIWireless. You can check them out yourself or watch the video as you go along. That way you won't have to figure out their sites if you're strapped for time.

Click here for a free aircard. It's a link to LetsTalk and they usually have excellent deals.

Because each site is primarily geared towards cell phone customers, you have to click a couple times to get to the aircards. Here's a quick word on how to find it easily for each site:

Wirefly

(1) Enter your zip code

(2) Click on the 'Phones' tab at the top of the page

(3) Look in the close to the bottom of the left column and click on Laptop Cards

(4) Find the card and carrier you're looking for

LetsTalk

(1) Click on Data Cards

(2) Find the aircard and carrier you're looking for

ACN Wireless

(1) Click on Broadband Cards in the left column

(2) Find the carrier and aircard you want

TMI Wireless

(1) Click on a carrier in the left column

(2) Search through the ginormous list of cell phones and find the broadband card(s) you want

ACN and LetsTalk are the simplest of the sites to navigate. As far as prices are concerned, it's hard to say as they fluctuate regularly. The good thing is that if you're a bargain hunter like me who always wants the best deal, you'll find it in one of four top sites.
