This is perhaps one of the bulkiest USB aircards out there right now. It’d be easy not to lash out at it if it had 2GB of storage…but it doesn’t. It really makes you wonder…what’s taking up all that space? If other Verizon aircards like the Kyocera KPC680 are so compact, what happened here? Novatel can definitely do better than this. They offer the Novatel USB720 for free while the KPC680 (a superior card) puts $50 in your wallet.
As an alternative to PC Cards or ExpressCards, the USB720 Modem has been developed to be compatible with all devices supporting a Type A USB port. In addition to this expanded compatibility, it has the following great features: increased upload and download speeds, VZAccess Manager, a high performance, flip up antenna, an LED service status indicator, and a small, compact and lightweight design that allows maximum convenience for wireless mobility. Rev. A capable* and Windows Vista capable.
