While I do want something from you in return, I’ll only accept it ethically.
Allow me to explain.
Although I’ve touched the surface a bit on why this site is here, I don’t think I covered fully my motivations behind Mobile Broadband Reviews.
After being egged on by quite a number of Mobile Broadband Buyer’s Guide readers (you guys are great), something dawned on me. I’ve had quite a number of readers tell me that I’ve provided so much value to them that they want to give me some kind of commission or credit in return.
That’s awesome. I do too.
While the gut reaction for a lot of people would be "mail all checks to: …", I’d want you to first understand the core philosophy that drives this site:
I’ll provide as much value and quality content as possible to you. Only after would I ever hope to receive some kind of reciprocity.I’ll provide as much value and quality content as possible to you. Only after would I ever hope to receive some kind of reciprocity.
To translate that into English: I help you out and you feed the webmaster.
To mash the already mashed potatoes some more:
You scratch my back only if I first did a good job of scratching yours.
Now, this might raise some ethical questions in some people’s minds like "How do I know you’re doing unbiased reviews if you stand to gain something?"
Easy.
Since I recommend the best and am affiliates with just about everyone, it doesn’t matter to me which one you get.
It’s being the Wal-Mart of mobile broadband. There’s no need or desire to push one brand above the other. So long as you ‘walk out the store’ with something, it helps. As a matter of fact, you may not even have to walk out the store (as you’ll see below).
Also, this site wouldn’t work if it gave biased reviews. Word would eventually get around and then no one would trust it. Without trust, no relationship (business or personal) can work.
With that being said, let’s talk about the elephant in the room.
So How Can I Support The Site?
Simple.
If you go through any of our links to our partners, we’ll get the credit/commission. Pretty much all of them are here:
Mobile Broadband Retailers
- LetsTalk (Broadband Cards and Cell Phones)
- WireFly (Broadband Cards and Cell Phones)
- Cricket (Prepaid Mobile Broadband + Mobile Phones)
- RovAir (Mobile Broadband Rental)
Ads
- Google Adsense (Text Ads around the site. Don’t click unless interested, otherwise we’ll get booted from the network)
- Infolinks (In-Text Ads. Don’t click unless interested, otherwise we’ll get booted from the network)
Backbones of the Site
Other ways to help
- Feed The Webmaster directly
- Tell a Friend or Spread the Word
That’s basically it. My ‘Ethical Bribe’ as it were. Thanks for supporting!
Feel free to drop me a line if you’ve got a question.

I’m in business and know one can’t do anything much for free – money exchange makes the world go round! Thanks for the disclosures. I’m always curious about how one can support an info website and pay the bills.
Marc says:
I agree with you to a certain extent Patricia.
VALUE exchange makes the world go round. Money is just an arbitrary idea, though an inefficient one, agreed upon by the collective masses to represent the value being exchanged but that’s the kind of topic I would delve into detail over here:

Ironically, that site is unmonetized.
I’m glad you enjoyed my full disclosure. Honesty is the only way to build trust. Trust is the only way to build relationships. Relationships are the only way we can change the world.
