What To Do If It Doesn’t Work

Then you may have to set your IP settings on the device and your Playstation 3 manually. These steps can be involving so you might wanna try just restarting your computer and PS3 to see if that fixes it. Otherwise, Here’s how to do it (only the differences in the above are explained):

1. Remember how in step 4 you set it to DHCP?

Instead you’ll ‘Configure’ and select ‘Using DHCP with manual address’. Set the IP Address to 10.0.0.1

Mac Mobile Broadband Setup 4

2. Going through the same process, instead of setting everything on the PS3 to automatic, you’ll to change a couple things:

At step 16, 17 & 18, for IP Address Setting, DHCP host name & DNS Settings respectively, you’ll need to choose “Manual”, “Set” & “Manual”. The settings you need should match the following:

IP Settings: Manual

IP Address: 10.0.0.2

Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

Gateway: 10.0.0.1

DNS Settings: Manual

Primary DNS Server: 192.168.2.1

Secondary DNS Server: 192.168.2.1
