E-Course Clarifies Mobile Broadband
by Bonnie B.

We will be traveling a great deal throughout the US in a motorhome and I needed to know the best way to get mobile broadband for my Mac as we move from one spot to another.
The course clarified the standard usage models for me for the uses I would put it to while traveling.
One thing I did not see was coverage of mobile satellite dishes for the internet, such as Motorola Datastorm, which is probably too rich for my blood anyway.
I expect to be in some poor signal areas and for that reason it appears the Sprint MiFi Hotspot Card would not work as well as the air card - much to my chagrin.
Traveling in a moving vehicle with an air card sticking out the side of my laptop worries me.
The thin pocketable WiFi/MiFi card would be nice for this purpose. Of course the downside to it, given a great signal strength, is that it only permits 5 Gigabytes of data. That could be a limiting problem.
So, I'm not ready to make a move yet, but know more than I did.
Thanks, Marc.
